Alabama: Alabama College First In Woman

Marathons in the Mile High City in the 1990s had financial and organizational problems, but after the successful Colorado Colfax Marathon on May 21, a new Denver Marathon will debut on October 15. Some 5,000 entrants are expected for Sunday's marathon and a half-marathon and road relay, and Dave McGillivray of Boston Marathon fame is directing the races.
